NSW selections in Australian Squads for upcoming international series

Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood, Nathan Lyon, Steve Smith and Mitchell Starc have been selected in the Australian men’s cricket team for their dual-Test series against the West Indies, beginning on January 17 in Adelaide. Series details can be found HERE.

NSP men’s Chair of Selectors George Bailey said:  

“The squad strikes a balance between players continuing to make their mark on international cricket, playing alongside some of our most experienced players with an eye to the future in this format.” 

NSW women’s team captain Alyssa Healy will skipper a 15-player Australian women’s squad comprised of Breakers stars Ashleigh Gardner and Phoebe Litchfield, in the T20I and ODI components of the upcoming women’s CommBank multi-format series against South Africa. 

Australia plays three T20 international matches in late January, before a trio of One-Day international fixtures in early February, concluding with a Test match in mid-February.

The squad for the Test Match at the WACA Ground will be selected following the first ODI.
