NSW Breakers squad for ACT matches

NSW Women’s Team selectors have named a 14-player squad to take on the ACT Meteors in a pair of Women’s National Cricket League (WNCL) fixtures to be played at EPC Solar Park in Canberra, next week.

The matches, on Tuesday and Thursday, both start at 10.00am (Sydney time) and will be live on Kayo and cricket.com.au.

English veteran Georgia Adams will again captain the group, with the squad coming off the back of consecutive victories over Western Australia in Perth last week.

Malaysian born 18-year-old Elsa Hunter has been named in the squad and would make her debut if chosen in the match day 11. Hunter has played 26 international matches for country of birth and made her T20I debut at the age of 13.

Maitlan Brown will miss the fixtures after breaking a thumb in Perth, while teenager Kate Pelle is also unavailable with concussion.

Australian representatives Alyssa Healy, Ash Gardner and Phoebe Litchfield were unavailable for selection due to international commitments.
