The NSW Breakers have completed their 2023-24 Women's National Cricket League (WNCL) season on a high, securing back-to-back wins against South Australia with today's 70-run victory at Cricket Central.
Breakers end season with dominant double over SA
Tahlia Wilson earned consecutive Player of the Match honours after achieving her third WNCL century in Breakers blue.
Wilson’s outstanding innings included nine boundaries and would elevate NSW to 265 from their 50 overs. This knock would also position her as the leading run-scorer for the Breakers this season with 377.
Wilson would back up her batting effort behind the wickets, claiming five catches and a stumping off the bowling of Hannah Darlington (3-30), Erin Burns (2-24), Sammy-Jo Johnson (2-36) and Sarah Coyte (1-35).
“I’m very happy with how I ended the season, [today] was definitely one to remember”, Wilson said.
