Umpire Panels for Season 2023-24 Confirmed

Amongst the highlights for NSW are experienced official Paul Wilson as part of the CA International Panel Umpires, that is nominated to ICC for Men’s International matches, and Claire Polosak as part of the International Panel of ICC Development Umpires, nominated for Women’s International matches.

Wilson is also part of the CA National Umpire Panel, alongside fellow NSW umpires Gerard Abood, Greg Davidson, Simon Lightbody and Ben Treloar.

Polosak, Sharad Patel and Troy Penman are all part of the CA Supplementary Umpire Panel.   

The National Umpire Panel and Supplementary Umpire Panel oversee the bulk of CA’s professional domestic competitions and contain a wealth of playing and officiating experience. 

Australians Rod Tucker, another New South Welshman, and Paul Reiffel have retained their ICC umpire contracts, along with ICC Match Referee David Boon.  

Damien Mealey, Chairman of the Cricket Australia Umpire Selection Panel said: 

“The quality of the panels is an endorsement of the outstanding umpiring talent within Australian cricket. 

"The selection panel is encouraged by the emergence of new umpires developing across all States and Territories, which has resulted in several first-class debuts placing match officiating in a very strong position moving forward."
