Sammy-Jo Johnson is set to captain the side for the short-format fixture, whilst emerging talents Isabella Malgioglio and Ebony Hoskin have earned their way into the 13.
Pace bowling sensation Stella Campbell is a chance of making her highly anticipated return to the NSW bowling attack after overcoming an injury picked up during last year’s WNCL season. Campbell’s last appearance in Breakers blue was on December 20, 2022.
Alyssa Healy, Ashleigh Gardner and Phoebe Litchfield are unavailable as they head into Australian camp ahead of this Sunday’s T20I series opener against the West Indies at North Sydney Oval.
Head of Female Elite Cricket at Cricket NSW, Leah Poulton said she was excited to provide the opportunity to the playing group and is eager to see how the squad performs against an international line-up.
“Any time our players can test themselves against a quality opposition is a great opportunity to learn and improve,” Poulton said.
“The West Indies play an exciting brand of cricket and will no doubt come at us hard, it's a great challenge for our group and excellent preparation for WBBL just around the corner.”
The fixture is set to begin at 1.00pm (AEDT) live from Cricket Central. A comprehensive spectator guide will be released later today.
