Wilson joins Governor-General’s XI for South Africa clash

NSW Breakers wicketkeeper-batter Tahlia Wilson has been added to the Governor-General’s squad for their T20 clash against South Africa at North Sydney Oval on Wednesday, January 24.

Wilson comes into the side as a replacement for Tasmania’s Amy Smith, who will miss the fixture through injury.

The 24-year-old from the state’s Illawarra region was named NSW’s Women’s National Cricket League Player of the Tournament last season after leading the side in runs with 478 at an average of 39.83, and consequentially, rewarded with selection into an Australia A side that toured England in mid-2023.
