NSW selectors have named a 12-player squad to play the round six Sheffield Shield match against Western Australia at the SCG, starting tomorrow (Friday 6/12).
Blake Nikitaras, Tanveer Sangha and Lachlan Shaw re-join the squad after playing Shield matches earlier in the season.
Sean Abbott, Nic Maddinson and Adam Zampa drop out of the team that played Tasmania last month.
Abbott was not considered due to his selection in Australia’s Test squad and Zampa was not available, while Nic Maddinson has suffered a finger injury and will undergo surgery today. Maddinson’s return to play timeline will be assessed in due course.
This is final Shield round before the mid-season BBL break.
