The preliminary rounds of the men’s first grade Limited-Overs Cup have wrapped up, with Parramatta cementing their dominance to claim the top spot on the ladder. Despite one no-result due to rain, Parramatta remained undefeated across six matches.

With the bat, Western Suburbs’ Joshua Clarke has been the standout performer. Clarke’s stunning innings of 175 not out against Sydney University in Round 2 and an explosive 160 not out against UTS North Sydney during Round 10 have propelled him to the top of the run-scorers list. He heads into the finals with 419 runs at an incredible average of 209.50.

On the bowling front, Parramatta’s Michael Sullivan has been a key figure. Sullivan leads the competition with 13 wickets at an average of 10.69.

The quarter finals will take place on Sunday, January 19th, starting at 10:00 am.

The matchups are as follows:

  • Parramatta (1) vs Sydney University (8) at Old Kings Oval
  • Hawkesbury (2) vs St George (7) at Owen Earle Oval
  • Randwick Petersham (3) vs Eastern Suburbs (6) at Coogee Oval
  • Gordon (4) vs Western Suburbs (5) at Chatswood Oval
