Campbelltown Camden have claimed their maiden Kingsgrove Sports Women’s T20 Cup title after weather prematurely ended the grand final clash against Manly Warringah last month.
Campbelltown posted 141 before lightning and rain arrived in the innings break, suspending play, and denying Manly the opportunity to commence their innings.
The SCA Women’s Competition Sub-Committee considered several factors before determining that it was not fair and/or reasonable to reschedule the match on a day that is not a regular Women’s Premier Cricket playing day, with the result of the final to remain as abandoned / no result.
As a result, the below playing condition was applied, and Campbelltown Camden were declared the Women’s Kingsgrove Sports T20 Cup Premiers for 2024/25.

(C) If no result, or a tie, is achieved in the Grand Final, the higher ranked team shall be declared Premier.
Earlier in the day, St George-Sutherland battled Campbelltown Camden for a spot in the final.
After winning the toss and electing to bat, St George struggled to form partnerships and find momentum. Lucy Finn (19) top scored, but with Lucy Western (10) the only other to reach double figures, St George were bowled out for 82.
Campbelltown’s Claire Koski was out cheaply but Alexandra Mavros (40*) and skipper Kelly Rowlings (38*) made quick work of the chase, running it down in 13 overs to secure their spot in the final.
The second semi-final saw the 2022/23 and 2023/24 T20 Cup champions, Sydney, go head-to-head with a strong Manly Warringah.
Sydney, having won the toss and elected to bat, faced early trouble with their top order struggling to fire against a disciplined bowling attack. Kate Barry (18*) and Lilly Dummett (25*) added some needed runs to see Sydney post 89.
Continuing her recent run of form in elite cricket, Manly opener Anika Learoyd hit 42 off 47, while Ella McGaughan smacked 41 from 30 to wrap the chase in just 12 overs.
Cricket NSW would like to thank Kingsgrove Sports for their generous support for this tournament.
