The cricket community in NSW is saddened by the passing of former Australian and NSW representative David Renneberg, aged 82.
He made his NSW debut on November 13, 1964, going on to play 46 Sheffield Shield matches for NSW and 90 first-class matches, including 8 Test matches for Australia.
Renneberg made his Test debut for Australia against South Africa in Johannesburg in 1966, finishing with match figures of 3-150. He went on to play in all five Tests of the South African tour, taking 11 wickets at 48. Across his international Test career, Renneberg claimed 23 wickets at 36.06.
