Community Cricket Awards 

Cricket NSW recognises that our sport cannot function without the efforts of our club administrations, volunteers and advocates. 

From volunteering on and off the field, innovating the way we play, facility development and everything in between, the NSW Community Cricket Awards aim to recognise these outstanding contributions and achievements. 

In 2024/25, there are 15 categories from which you can nominate from.  

The winners of each category will then progress to Cricket Australia’s National Community Cricket Awards.

  • Indoor Facility 
  • Junior Initiative 
  • Technology & Media Initiative 
  • Volunteer of the Year 
  • Women & Girls Initiative 
  • Young Leader of the Year

Eligibility 

Nominee, facility or initiative must be based in NSW 

For categories where the nominee is an individual, they must be an active contributor to cricket during season 2024/25. 

For categories where the nominee is an initiative, the initiative must have taken place in season 2024/25. 

Nominations 

Applications open 10 December 2024 and close 7 February 2025.  

Winners will be announced in late February.
